Who we are

We are a welcoming and supportive youth dance company led by Tom Cassidy, a fully qualified teacher and experienced dance specialist based in London. With contemporary dance at the heart of our work, we are passionate about helping young people grow in confidence, creativity, and skill through high quality dance training.

Tom trained in the North East before moving to London, where he completed his Master’s degree in Contemporary Dance with Distinction at the prestigious London Contemporary Dance School. He has also worked professionally within the dance industry, bringing real-world experience into every class he teaches.

Alongside his professional training and performance background, Tom is a Lead Practitioner for Dance and an AQA GCSE Dance specialist, with a strong record of helping students achieve fantastic results year on year. Lessons are carefully structured to support both the practical and written elements of the GCSE syllabus, helping students feel confident, prepared, and supported throughout their studies.

Teaching is inclusive, encouraging, and well organised, ensuring every student—whether new to dance or more experienced, can progress at their own pace while being challenged appropriately. We place great importance on creating a positive, safe, and motivating environment where young people feel comfortable expressing themselves and developing their skills.

Tom’s professional experience with respected organisations such as London Contemporary Dance School, BalletLORENT, and Dance City informs his teaching approach, offering students inspiring insight into the wider dance world while keeping lessons age appropriate and accessible.

We believe dance is about more than just technique. It builds confidence, discipline, creativity, and resilience, skills that benefit young people both inside and outside the studio. Our aim is to nurture confident, happy dancers who feel supported every step of the way.
